Access to healthcare should not be a luxury but a fundamental right for all human beings and hence all human beings regardless of their financial capabilities should access all available primary healthcare services in a healthcare facility. Discrimination is immoral and unethical and should be d iscouraged.As the government cuts back on financing to government healthcare facilities to cater for poor people, many problems arise including lack of capacity to handle the high number of people seeking healthcare services. Further, due to inadequate staff members to cater for the rising number of patients, the quality of healthcare services is likely to be compromised. To cater for such shortcomings, the government should employ and deploy more healthcare staff to cater for the increased number of patients. Further, the government should also employ cost-cutting measures such as adoption of better and effective technologies to ensure quick diagnosis for patients. Such technologies will ensure that more people are attended to in a given duration as well as ensuring that wasteful processes are minimized or eliminated.Comparing the U.S. and UK healthcare systems, there are notable differences. Firstly, the U.S. Healthcare is very expensive and major driven by the private sector wher e those who can afford are offered better services. The UK healthcare on the other hand is accessible to all the citizens and is paid by government through taxes.
